We joined the Sacred Heart community for our 2 daughters during the 2020-21 school year. They had been attending a BVSD neighborhood school and transferred to SHJ due to the COVID pandemic.  We expected to stay for a year and feel it out. Our children loved the school, so here we are in our 3rd year!

As parents, we  love the small class sizes, which lends itself to more individualized learning. We also love the care and concern the teachers show to our children.

One aspect that we didn’t foresee when sending our girls to SHJ was the lessons in respect, responsibility and accountability. We have these values at home, and it is great to have a school that supports and teaches these lessons in the classroom. We recommend SHJ for those looking for a more intimate instructional setting, a loving staff, and a philosophy of supporting family values.

We sent our kids to Sacred Heart in kindergarten and first grade hoping for a values-based community with small class sizes, dedicated teachers, and ongoing opportunities for academic, extracurricular, and social growth.  Over the last four years, we have found all of those things and more. Each day we pick up our kids they are smiling, energized, and engaged. The teachers and staff are committed to our kids’ growth not only as students but also as human beings.
